The Prodigal Bunny

Last Saturday I went to check on BunBun and saw his cage was knocked over, his feeder had fallen out, and BunBun was gone. My heart sank and I ran around the yard looking for him. I had seen some dogs on the loose, some guys were doing construction work next door and their dogs were roaming around my yard. I feared the worst, but held out hope because I saw no blood. I didn't even want to use that word, so you know what I was thinking. After this, for days on end we had violent rain storms with wind gusts up to 80 miles an hour. Power outages, cancelled school, flooding, etc. Then on a Thursday the boys and I pulled into the driveway, and who do you think was there on the sidewalk by the garden? Our dear BunBun. Do you know he bolted when we got out of the car? I thought he would be thrilled to see us. After a muddy chase circling our house and the neighbors house multiple times, our bunny is back home with us and his cage is in a much safer place.
And for my dear friends whom I haven't seen in years, I now have short hair!

It's A Boy

What was once brown, is now blue...Miller Paint Bullfinch Blue from the historical color collection. Doesn't it look like the same blue that is on every kind of baby boy thing? I love it though, and of course the two boys that live here love it. What a difference a color can make with your spirits. It has been raining for days on end and now it is like blue skies and sunshine in the house. My plans for working from home are just clipping along. Soon we will have a replacement for me at work and after training that person, I should begin this new adventure in January, as opposed to the earlier forcasted date of April 2nd, 2007. As many of you know, I work for my brother, and I want to say here, (http://www.caruanainc.com) but this google beta has got me all turned around. So there it is just like that. Paul is excited for me, but I wonder why he was so excited to find my replacement? Oh I know I am an artist, and not an office specialist, so off to follow my dreams...as we all should.
